...all you need is love!

Dziś zaprezentuję walentynkową karteczkę w nietypowym kształcie - fortepianu. Skąd taka interpretacja Święta Zakochanych? Tego dnia ludzie spędzają miłe chwile w romantycznych kawiarniach, restauracjach lub w zaciszu domowym spotykają się na uroczystej kolacji przy dwóch świecach. Gdziekolwiek zakochani nie celebrują swojej miłości, zawsze w tle jest muzyka. Czasem niezauważalna, ale niesamowicie budująca klimat tego wieczoru. To pokazuje jak ważna jest w życiu człowieka. Właśnie dlatego nie wyobrażałam sobie karteczki walentynkowej inaczej, jak w kształcie fortepianu. Można sobie wyobrażać tylko jakie dźwięki się z niego wydobywają. Muzyka klasyczna? A może smooth jazz?

Today I want to present you the Valentine's card in unusual shape - piano shape. Why I interpreted the Valentine's Day this way? This day people spend nice moments in romantic cafes, restaurants or they eat festive supper with 2 candles at home. Wherever lovers celebrate their love, there's always music in the background. Sometimes it's almost unnoticeable, but it incredibly builds the atmosphere of the evening. It shows how it is important in human's life. that's why I couldn't imagine the Valentine's card other way than in the shape of piano. We can only imagine what kind of sounds are going out from it. Classical music? Or maybe smooth jazz?

A teraz kilka słów o wykonaniu: klapę fortepianu wycięłam w formie serca z czarnego papieru. Klawiaturę wyrysowałam oraz dokleiłam sama. Kolejny etap to wnętrze. Do obicia fortepianu użyłam czerwonego papieru z I Kropki "Śnieżne dni 02". Jednocześnie obicie to wygląda jak wychylające się serduszko. Na nim umieściłam ażurkowe, beżowe serduszko z grubego filcu. Poniżej biały ozdobny ornament. Na sąsiedniej stronie, gdzie zamieściłam cytat użyłam drugiej strony papieru "Śnieżne dni 02" z motywem pięciolinii. Jak świetnie przypasował mi ten papierek do pracy!

And now few words about my work: I cut the piano's flap from black paper in the shape of heart. I draw a keyboard. Next step is the inside of the piano. I used the red side of "I Kropka's" paper "Snowy Days 02. Now the inside part looks like a heart. I added the openwork heart there made with thick felt. Lower I put white decorative ornament. On the opposite page where I put the quotation I used the other side of the same "Snowy days 02" paper with music motif. My card and this paper completely matched!

I teraz najlepsza zabawa: kartkę można otworzyć tak samo jak fortepian: wystarczy podłożyć czarną nóżkę :) W czarnym papierze wycięłam siatkę graniastosłupa, skleiłam gdzie trzeba i już! Łączenie kartki jest, tak jak w fortepianie, zawiasem. Natomiast na froncie kartki umieściłam bukiecik białych i czerwonych róż, pulpit, a na nim nuty do piosenki "All you need is love" The Beatles. Bo wszystko czego człowiek potrzebuje do szczęścia i spełnienia to miłość drugiego człowieka. Wtedy wszystko wydaje się łatwiejsze :)

And now the best fun: you can open the card the same like real piano: all you have to do is put the black leg. I draw a very small prism grid in black paper, cut it out and put glue in proper places. Also the card has got a hinge like the real one. On the front page I put the small bunch of red and white roses, lectern and the music to the song "All you need is love" The Beatles on it. Because everything that human needs to be happy and fulfilled is love of the other person. then everything seems to be easier.
